A safe and reliable water supply is an essential foundation for life and for continuing socio-economic development. Innovative technology/ solutions are adopted to conserve, recover and reuse water wherever possible to avoid water shortage issues. Safe disposal of human wastes is a prerequisite for safeguarding both public health standards and environmental quality. Uncontrolled discharge of wastewater from households, industries and urban areas can give rise to pollution of receiving waters.
GISCON Engineering provides consultancy mainly in the following field:
- Planning, survey, process & hydraulic design, tender document, detailed design and Engineering, RFC drawings and advisory during construction phase for Water Supply, Waste Water and Drainage System
- Onshore/offshore Intake, water main, water Distribution lines, anchor blocks, Ground/ elevated Reservoir, Pumping Station and Water Treatment
- Sewer line, Sewage Pumping Stations (SPS), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)
- Upgradation of overall environmental conditions of water bodies by desilting / dredging, garland drains/ promenade along shore line to tap sewage, Sewerage System and floating fountains etc.
- Selection of Corridor for Road/ Rail/ Coal/ Ash/ Conveyor/ Water & Gas pipe line, optical fibre cable and transmission line with minimum physical, Environmental and land acquisition hurdles.
- Selection of level of the facilities considering soil data, minimum cut- fill and ground water table and identification of flooding scenario and suggest alternative route.
- Third party consultancy on Early Works & investigations i.e. Topography survey etc. to get precise data on GIS platform including collection of topo sheets, satellite images from NRSC, digitisation and superimposition
- Identification of site for Smart city considering well connected, visible, Intelligent, controllable, safe and Secure. Intelligent landscape with no boundary wall, intelligent buildings, Smart Water & Power Infrastructure, Smart Transportation and Zero discharge.
- Preparation of Early work documents i.e. Design Basis Report, Technical specifications and BOQ for Early studies, site enabling works and Selection of facilities including detailed design and Review of Balance of Plant facilities of Greenfield / Brownfield Power Plant:
- Selection of NDCT or IDCT, LCSD or HCSD, Bitumen or Concrete Road, Acid alkali tiles or PPG lining and vinyl flooring or Vitrified Tiles etc keeping techno-economic considerations.
- Review the water quality and water balance diagram and try to restrict the water requirement to 2.5 cum/ hr per MW and will try COC is maintained in such a way that blow down exactly meets the requirement of Ash handling, service water, coal dust suppression and fire water.
- To reduce the cost of ASH Dyke and Reservoir, finalize the levels of bund keeping terracing in mind instead of keeping same bed level.
